My Journey

Coach H., a valued contributor of Bay State Running, initially built his dedicated following with beloved families throughout Massachusetts and the broader New England Region. His charismatic play-by-play announcing at the historic Reggie Lewis Center has become synonymous with excellence in the sport.

My Mission

In December 2022, Coach H. made a momentous decision to invest himself in a vision and mission that extend far beyond the confines of Massachusetts. His mission is clear: to continue providing inspiration to athletes worldwide and to inspire and motivate through his unique digital perspective.

Our Commitment

In addition to announcing the 2023 New Balance Indoor & Outdoor Championships, Coach H. proudly serves as the Head Coach of the Boston Public Schools City Wide XC program. He is also the site director of an All Ages Strength & Conditioning Camp, "Champions Are Made In the Summer," located in White Stadium, Boston, MA. Here, he shares his knowledge and experience with aspiring athletes of all ages.

Coach H.'s Why

Coach H.'s driving force is simple but profound: "I am simply trying to be the coach I needed when I was younger." He understands the pivotal role confidence plays in an athlete's journey, and if he can provide that crucial boost through his multifaceted skill set, he considers himself truly blessed. This philosophy is why he affectionately refers to his athletes and supporters as #MyHomeGirls & #MyMainMan.
